2014-2015 All-Region Band Results
Mrs. DeSoto and I are so thrilled for everyone in the Shadow Ridge MS Band. This has been a very tedious project for everyone preparing for the All-District & All-Region Band Auditions. The level of commitment toward individual work on independent skills and refining musical details has been admirable and we are so PROUD of every student. The process helps everyone grow stronger individually which is healthy and the goal! Congratulations to everyone who auditioned for the All-Region Band. All students from Lewisville ISD, Southlake ISD and Grapevine-Colleyville ISD auditioned for placement into one of four All-Region Bands (in order: Wind Symphony; Honor; Symphonic; Concert). We are very fortunate to have so many students place very well in the audition – Good Job & Congrats! Hard work does pay off – you may not see the results immediately but they will come! We are looking forward to a brilliant Winter Concert and beyond! (Solo & Ensemble Contest will be coming up in February.)
